How to access your personal data

 

Under the 2018 GDPR legislation, individuals have the right to access their personal data and supplementary information.

The right of access allows individuals to be aware of and verify the lawfulness of the processing.

Under the GDPR, individuals will have the right to obtain:

  • confirmation what personal data is being processed;

  • access to their personal data;

  • other supplementary information where applicable

Data will be provided Free of Charge in the first instance, if however the request covers multiple individuals or is a duplicate request to a previous request an administration fee will be applied to cover the administrative cost of providing this information. If there are a repetitive requests to provide the data which has previously been supplied we can refuse to provide the data again, this will not effect your rights to complain to the supervisory authority.

We will endeavour to provide the data in a timely manner and typically within one month of the request being made. However, due to varying workloads, holiday and sickness this may vary from time to time.
